A   short   introduction  into  holographic
approach  to QCD will be presented. Within this
approach,      the     ideas     of     AdS/CFT
(gravitation/gauge  theory)  correspondence are
employed   for   constructing  five-dimensional
effective  theories  of  QCD,  with  the  fifth
coordinate  being  interpreted  as  the inverse
energy scale.
